Established in 2014, the Culinary home of Alexa Von Strolley, sometimes known as ‘Tooksie’ (nickname given to by her lovely father, Johnny)!  Alexa has cooked for international A-List celebrities across Jamaica and globally, in places such as London (UK), Tokyo (Japan), New York (USA), Los Angeles (USA), Dakar (Africa) and the Bahamas, blazing her path towards Tooksie’s signature eclectic style.  As Alexa traversed the globe, tasting exotic cuisine and learning from international chefs, she began to draw inspiration for her own unique creations. 

Butter is her love language, her recipes always have indulgence, a likkle decadence, spice, and some sort of MIX UP! Alexa finds a lot of pleasure mixing cultures through food, exploring different combinations and fitting them into something authentic.  She’s turned some of the classics from her childhood heroes, Polly and Miss Thelma into crepes or pasta. They’re different on the palate, but the flavor is true to what she grew up eating, as well as what she’s transformed them into through her years of playing with food.

As her palate developed along with her technique, another important milestone occurred in Alexa’s personal life: she became a Mom. Just like that her cooking took on a whole new dimension! With baby Aidan added to the mix, Alexa was forced to dig deep and develop more efficient ways to create the same delicious dishes in half the time--without sacrificing the taste!
